Specialties
I became an attorney because I enjoy working with and helping people. As a litigation attorney, I understand that every client is unique, which is why I strive to collaborate with clients to create solutions that fit your needs today and tomorrow.
My Approach
Although litigation is a constant in my life, I recognize it is a stressful time for you. It is important to me that you always feel like your concerns and goals have been heard. My approach is to listen, understand your objectives, and develop innovative solutions to ensure you meet your goals.
More About Me
I obtained my undergraduate degree in Political Science and Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2016. Yes, this means that I’m a Badger fan, but don’t worry, I cheer for the Cyclones and Hawks in every other instance!
I received my J.D., with highest distinction, from Drake University Law School in 2020. During my time at Drake Law, I served as the Editor in Chief of the Drake Law Review, Captain of the National Moot Court Team, a teaching assistant in the Legal Research and Writing Program, a research assistant to Professor Laurie Dore, a research assistant to the Honorable Mark W. Bennett, and an extern to Justice Susan Christensen of the Iowa Supreme Court. My student Note, Border Battle: Addressing the Standard for Forensic Searches of Electronic Devices at the U.S. Border, was published in Volume 68 of the Drake Law Review.
Prior to joining BrownWinick, I spent 18 months as a federal law clerk to the Honorable John A. Jarvey in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Iowa. As a federal law clerk, I was involved in a broad range of litigation matters, conducting extensive legal research, and writing court orders on motions.
