Specialties

I’m an immigration attorney with a unique blend of experience across government, private sector, and international arenas. My career has taken me from negotiating contracts in-house at a multinational reinsurance company, to serving overseas as a consular officer with the U.S. Department of State, to now advising clients on complex business immigration matters. I’m driven by the opportunity to help organizations and individuals navigate the U.S. immigration system with clarity, strategy, and purpose.

My Approach

I draw on my deep government experience to demystify the visa process and develop immigration strategies that work. My time at U.S. embassies in Ireland and Brazil gave me firsthand insight into how visa decisions are made, and I use that knowledge to tell compelling applicant stories, prepare clients for interviews, and manage risk. With my in-house corporate background, I understand the internal pressures companies face and focus on solutions that are pragmatic, efficient, and aligned with business goals. Whether I’m advising on PERM, consular processing, or leadership immigration pathways, I approach every case as a collaborative effort—shaping strategy with clients and staying responsive to their evolving needs.

More About Me

I’m a proud graduate of Boston College Law School, where I served as vice president of the Law Students Association and articles editor for the International and Comparative Law Review. Before that, I earned my B.A. in Philosophy with distinction from Indiana University Bloomington. I’ve always valued rigorous thinking, which is a through-line in both my academic background and my legal practice.

Professionally, I’ve been recognized in Best Lawyers in America®: Ones to Watch (2025) for Labor and Employment Law – Employee, and I’m an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Outside of law, I enjoy board games, cooking, biking, and exploring life with my three kids. Whether I’m at the office or at home, I bring a thoughtful, practical approach to solving challenges and supporting the people around me.
