More About Me

I am originally from Iowa, but moved to the beautiful state of Maine in middle school, where my family still lives. I returned to Iowa for college where I received my B.A. from Simpson College in 2018, studying political science, religious studies, and mathematics. Before entering the legal field, I worked in debate education – as an instructor at an English independent school, a university debate coach and instructor, and the U.S. Director for a Canadian debate camp organization, where I now serve on the foundation board. I earned my M.A. in Organization and Professional Communication Development from Ball State University in 2021 and graduated with honors from Drake University Law School in 2025. While at Drake, I served as President of the Moot Court Board, Associate Editor of the Drake Journal of Agricultural Law, and earned the Legislative Practice Certificate.
