50 States. 50 Sets of Rules. One Law Firm.

Advocacy is your focus. Compliance is ours.

The Challenge

Lobbying compliance isn't a checkbox. It is a continuous responsibility that touches every level of government. A single email to an elected official can trigger registration requirements. A well-intentioned gift can create ethics exposure. Miss a filing deadline can lead to audits, penalties, and reputational harm.

Federal law, and the laws of all fifty states, each operate under different rules, thresholds, and deadlines. Many organizations engaged in government relations,
public affairs, or issue advocacy may not realize when lobbying laws apply to their activities. The regulatory landscape is increasingly complex, and the consequences of noncompliance can be significant.

BrownWinick's lobbying compliance team serves as your external compliance department. We manage the complexity so your team can focus on advocacy.
