BrownWinick Welcomes Nine 2025 Fall Associates

We are delighted to welcome a new class of associates to our firm this fall. This year’s group brings a wide range of experiences, perspectives, and talents that will enhance our practice and further strengthen the service we deliver to our clients. Their enthusiasm, dedication to the law, and drive for excellence are already evident, and we look forward to the many contributions they will make as they grow with us.

Dakota Farquhar 

Dakota J. Farquhar has a litigation practice. When clients find themselves thrust into the unfamiliar world of litigation, they want attorneys with the foresight and skills to navigate the legal system, protect their business, and get them the best resolution possible. As a litigation attorney, Dakota leans on her experience and diligence to advocate for her clients and their business in every situation. She makes it a priority to understand the full scope of their business, so they receive the effective representation they deserve. 

Grace Kruse 

Grace B. Kruse focuses primarily on transactional work, with emphasis on tax, employee benefits, and corporate finance & securities law. Her goal is to support her clients in building and growing a successful business. Grace aims to be curious, caring, and committed to her clients. She is genuinely interested in understanding each client’s business, goals, and challenges, which allows her to offer thoughtful, tailored legal guidance. Grace cares deeply about the people she works with and prioritizes building trust through clear communication and practical support 

Rachel Martinez 

Rachel A. Martinez’s practice focuses on corporate law, individual estate planning, and tax. She strives to be a trusted resource and supportive advisor as her clients navigate their legal challenges. By being a friendly face and building a meaningful relationship, Rachel works to understand her clients' goals and support them every step of the way. Her goal is to provide advice that is tailored to their unique situation and helps achieve their goals. 

Johnny Ren 

Johnny Ren works primarily in the Business and Corporate Law practice group. It is his goal and responsibility to not only help clients solve problems, but also to be someone they can talk to openly and honestly. He aims to find practical solutions catered to his client’s priorities and objectives. Johnny’s approach as an attorney is to understand his client’s goals and priorities and to help them navigate through problems in a practical and informed way. His goal is to understand and communicate to his clients what problems exist, why they exist, what actions are available, and how they may affect them in the future. 

Kelsey Schott 

Kelsey R. Schott is actively involved in the Litigation and Government Relations practice groups. Whether navigating complex legal disputes or addressing legislative issues on the Hill, Kelsey focuses to keep her client’s priorities front and center. Kelsey’s approach as an attorney begins with effective communication, collaboration, and a clear understanding of her client’s goals to build strong legal strategies. She prioritizes clear messaging, building connections, and collaborating to solve complex problems. Kelsey strives to make the legal process approachable and manageable, serving as an advocate every step of the way and working to achieve results that are both efficient and impactful. 

Dylan Schuchard 

Dylan T. Schuchard focuses on all aspects of Intellectual Property matters. His goal is to become a trusted advisor—someone his clients can count on to safeguard their IP and support them when challenges arise. He works hard to understand his client's business objectives so that their legal strategy aligns with their broader goals. For Dylan, the best part of practicing law is getting to know his clients and what drives their work. Protecting what clients are most passionate about is both a responsibility and a privilege. He strives to provide legal advice that is clear, practical, and tailored to each unique situation. 

Jenna Shader 

Jenna L. Shader specializes in estate planning and she strives to make the process of planning for the future as stress-free as possible. By developing a relationship with her clients, she can understand their unique goals and create a personalized estate plan that fits their needs. Her goal is to give them peace of mind, knowing that their wishes will be carried out and their loved ones protected. Growing up with a close family member with Down syndrome, Jenna learned early on that everyone has a unique story. She carries that perspective into her work in estate planning. She understands that conversations about estate planning can be a difficult—or even uncomfortable—but her goal is to be a trusted advisor and problem solver. 

Alexis Soukup 

Alexis E. Soukup’s priority is to truly understand her client's business and the challenges they are facing. She aims to be a trusted partner—offering practical, straightforward guidance that helps clients move forward with confidence and achieve their goals. While she specializes in Health Care, she handles general Business & Corporate Transactions as well. By staying actively involved in BrownWinick’s Health Care and Business & Corporate practice groups, she stays closely connected to the regulatory, operational, and strategic issues that impact her clients most. 

Brianne Zielinski 

Brianne Zielinski has a strong passion for health law. Her background in public health allows her to approach challenges within a broader context, identifying solutions that fit into the larger system. She thrives at the intersection of healthcare and law, where she can craft innovative responses to complex, multifaceted issues. Brianne’s goal is always to develop practical solutions—guided by legal expertise, informed by personal experience, and focused on the future. She combines creativity with practicality — and in her experience, that balance requires collaboration and transparency. Brianne works closely with her clients, colleagues, and other parties to understand shared goals, approaching legal challenges with a strategic lens.
