Mike is a seasoned business and deal attorney with deep experience navigating corporate strategy, commercial transactions, and governance across a wide range of industries. His background spans decades of advising Fortune 500 companies, multinational organizations, emerging businesses, and founders launching new ventures.

A significant portion of Mike’s practice centers on mergers and acquisitions, where he brings long‑standing expertise helping client's structure, negotiate, and close transactions of all sizes. He also has substantial experience in renewable energy project development and financing, as well as matters involving utilities, manufacturing, professional services, and agribusiness.

Mike’s career includes many years in large national and international law firms, complemented by time spent in‑house with publicly traded U.S. companies. He has led project teams, managed legal departments, advised boards of directors, and overseen complex transactions involving the purchase, sale, expansion, and financing of businesses. This blend of private‑practice and in‑house leadership gives Mike a unique ability to see deals from all angles—legal, operational, and strategic.
