BrownWinick Welcomes Eight Law Students to the 2022 Summer Associates Program

BrownWinick is excited to welcome eight law students into the 2022 Summer Associate Program. This program is designed to offer law students the benefit of working at a full-service law firm while providing the personal attention more characteristic of a smaller firm. Summer associates are encouraged to undertake projects in a variety of BrownWinick’s practice areas, without a forced rotation system. Summer associates are given challenging assignments that reflect work typically done by junior associates.

"We could not be more excited to welcome this group of extremely talented students to our firm,” said Brian McCormac, Recruiting Committee Chair. “Our summer program provides an engaging experience including substantive projects and meaningful client interactions that will help to prepare them for their futures after law school.  We also offer many social activities that showcase what Des Moines has to offer and give the students opportunities to get to know the firm and each other.”

In addition, each summer associate is assigned an associate mentor to help them navigate the opportunities presented to them and find success in the program. There are also many educational programs and events put on throughout the summer to encourage these summer associates to immerse themselves in the firm’s culture.
