RECENT CASE LAW UPDATES AND ANALYSIS OF IOWA'S WORKERS' COMPENSATION SYSTEM POST-2017 LEGISLATIVE CHANGES

BrownWinick attorney, Ben Merrill, will be presenting at the 52nd Annual Iowa Governor's Safety & Health Conference. Ben's presentation will be on "Recent Case Law Updates and Analysis of the Iowa Workers' Compensation System Post-2017 Legislative Changes and Ben is scheduled to present on October 24, 2023 from 12:45 p.m. - 1:45 p.m.

Ben will discuss new case law developments in Iowa and review best practice strategies from an attorney practicing in workers' compensation. He sill also discuss the status of Iowa's Workers' Compensation now that the 2017 legislative changes have taken full effect, along with a discussion regarding potential areas of additional cost savings opportunities in the state.

The 52nd Annual Iowa Governor's Safety & Health Conference is held October 24-25, 2023 at The Meadows Event Center, Altoona, Iowa.  This event is for two days of conversation on how best to protect Iowa workers, along with networking opportunities with colleagues and new contacts.
