CAREERS

LATERALS & ASSOCIATES

BrownWinick is looking for unique individuals who share the firm’s philosophy to join our team.

BrownWinick is widely regarded in the legal and business communities as one of Iowa’s major firms. The firm has a sophisticated and respected transactional practice and an equally respected active litigation practice. The firm also offers a very strong lobbying group to assist clients with legislative and governmental needs. We serve a diverse clientele which includes large corporations, farm cooperatives, small family-owned businesses, and individuals.

Our attorneys have distinguished themselves both academically and professionally; however, more important than our collective credentials is the character of our firm. Our attorneys have chosen to practice at BrownWinick because of the dynamic, challenging nature of our practice and our balance of work and personal life. Our members each bring to the firm strong individual commitments to client relationships based on a strategic, result-oriented, common-sense approach to the attorney’s role. We carefully recruit and train associates who possess the attributes and attitudes necessary to deliver on our commitment.

In addition to identifying candidates through BrownWinick’s Summer Associate Program, the firm hires associates through on-campus interviewing of third-year law students and a review of resumes received by the Recruiting Committee from interested applicants. Some of BrownWinick’s associates are hired after completion of federal and state judicial clerkships. The firm also hires lateral attorneys for associate and partner positions as needed.

You are welcome to submit an online application and we will keep it on file for consideration, should a position become available.
