Mike J. Eason

I’m a business and deal lawyer with extensive experience in shaping and executing legal strategy, corporate and commercial transactions, and corporate governance. My experience spans several industries and clients of many types, from Fortune 500 and multinational organizations to founders who are just getting their company started. I have long-standing expertise in mergers and acquisitions, and significant experience in renewable energy project development and financing.

More About Me

I’ve spent most of my career practicing in large national and international law firms, with that time punctuated by several years in house with NYSE-traded U.S. companies. I’ve led project teams and managed people, advised boards of directors, and guided legal aspects of the purchase, sale, expansion and financing of companies in many industries including energy, utilities, manufacturing, professional services and agribusiness.

I am an Iowa native and summa cum laude graduate of Drake University. I graduated from the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, cum laude, in 1989.
