Jessica Hall

As an associate attorney at BrownWinick, I work primarily in the Energy, Natural Resources and Environmental Law Practice Group. I’m drawn to energy and environmental law because of the way these issues connect people, communities, and the natural world. I enjoy learning, problem solving, and working with people, and I believe that translates into my legal practice. As your attorney, I’ll help you successfully navigate the world of energy law and advocate for your goals.

My Approach

My approach is focused on effective communication and collaboration. I believe an important part of being an attorney is making complex information accessible to my clients. I take the time to understand your goals, listen to your questions, and explain your options so you can make informed decisions. I enjoy digging into challenging issues and working with you to find practical solutions. 

More About Me

I am from Salt Lake City, Utah, and I attended the University of Utah. I graduated in 2022 with a B.A in Political Science and Environmental Studies. Following graduation, I had the opportunity to do an internship with the Forest Service in Washington D.C. After my internship, I decided to attend law school at Lewis & Clark in Portland, Oregon. I graduated cum laude in 2026 and was admitted to the Iowa bar. During law school I served as Submission Editor for the Environmental Law Review, and I received a certificate in Environmental and Natural Resources with Distinction. 

Outside of work I enjoy physical activity and anything outdoors including hiking, skiing, climbing, swimming, and running. I also enjoy reading, cooking, and music.
