Specialties
I am a trial attorney at heart. It is the reason I became a lawyer and a prosecutor, and the foundation of the service I provide our clients. I am also a leader in the community with experience as a school board president, union representative, and volunteer. This unique combination of trial experience, public leadership, and government knowledge will benefit your business at the negotiating table, in the boardroom, or in the courtroom. I cherish the role of lawyers to advocate for their clients in all manners of dispute resolution. I also recognize that a lawsuit, potential lawsuit, or any other situation that requires a lawyer is likely your top priority at that moment in time. I will not only pursue your interests aggressively, but I will also guide you with steady counsel through an unfamiliar and emotional process. Together, we will work for the best possible outcome. I will advocate boldly and wisely for you.
My Approach
My approach is simple: Be Prompt; Be Professional; Be Prepared. A lesson I first learned from a veteran judge giving advice to young lawyers appearing in his courtroom. My experience since has taught me it is wise to apply these principles to everything I do as an attorney. First, I appreciate that your time is valuable, and your matters are important. It is my promise to be on time and efficient. Second, I recognize the need to be respectful and professional to all involved. As your lawyer, I am not only a representative of your interests but a reflection of you as well. Finally, effective advocacy begins long before you get to the finish line. I will thoroughly learn your case, study the law, and develop a winning strategy from the start. Perhaps it is best summed up in the words of an important mentor of mine who often said, “If you fail to prepare, you prepare to fail.”
You deserve knowledgeable, creative, and cost-effective representation. With my experience and the resources of BrownWinick that is exactly what you will get.
