Five Attorneys Admitted as New Members at BrownWinick

We are pleased to announce that the firm has recently voted to admit attorneys Megan Ball, Stephanie Koltookian, Lee Henderson, Matt Mauntel-Medici and Caleb Brus as Members of BrownWinick effective January 1, 2026.

About Our New Members 

Megan Ball 

As a litigator at BrownWinick, Megan draws on her experience clerking for two federal judges to represent and advise clients at all stages of a dispute, working to resolve matters efficiently and economically. She strives to help clients identify potential issues before they reach the courts and zealously advocates when litigation becomes necessary. Megan’s approach emphasizes clear communication, practical solutions, and an honest assessment of options to minimize disruption and achieve the best possible outcome. 

Stephanie Koltookian 

Stephanie is a litigation attorney dedicated to helping clients resolve disputes effectively and efficiently. She values clear communication and concise advice, aligning her approach with clients’ goals to make the process manageable and results-driven. Stephanie’s experience spans state and federal courts nationwide, giving her a broad perspective on complex litigation matters. 

Lee Henderson 

Lee specializes in business law and transactions, with deep experience in technology, information privacy and security, and insurance. Prior to joining BrownWinick, Lee spent over seven years as a leader of a high-performing in-house legal team and officer of a top 50 property and casualty insurance company, including three years as enterprise privacy director. His practical, business-forward mindset ensures clients receive solutions that balance risk and opportunity. 

Matt Mauntel-Medici

Matt Mauntel-Medici is an immigration attorney who helps employers, entrepreneurs, and researchers navigate the complexities of the U.S. immigration system. Matt brings a unique blend of experience to bear on employment-based immigration needs, drawing from his experience across government, private sector, and international arenas. Matt’s career has taken him from working in-house at a multinational reinsurance company, to serving overseas as a visa officer with the U.S. Department of State, to now advising clients on complex business immigration matters. Whether he’s advising on PERM, consular processing, or immigration pathways for key-contributors and
company leaders, he approaches every case as a collaborative effort—shaping strategy
with clients and staying responsive to their evolving needs.

Caleb Brus 

Caleb’s practice centers on business law, guided by principles of simplicity, adaptability, and dedication. With prior experience as Chief Compliance Officer for a Fortune 500 financial services company, Caleb brings a unique perspective that extends beyond legal issues to strategic business challenges. His commitment to understanding clients’ goals makes him a responsive and trusted advisor.
