Kelli J. Orton is an associate attorney with BrownWinick and has a general practice, including, but not limited to real estate, estate planning, agribusiness, taxation and business and corporate law.
Kelli graduated from Drake University in 2013, receiving her B.A. in Law, Politics and Society with a concentration in Business Law.
In 2017 Kelli received her J.D. with highest honors from Drake University Law School and is a member of the Order of the Coif. During law school, Kelli was a member of the Drake Law Review, serving as Research Editor from 2016-2017 and Junior Staff from 2015-2016. Kelli was a teaching assistant for the legal research and writing program at Drake Law School from 2015-2017. She was active in the Drake Law Women and Christian Legal Society while at Drake Law School.
Prior to joining the BrownWinick law firm as an associate, Kelli served as a law clerk at Goodman Law, Casey’s General Stores, Witherwax Law and McKinney Law Offices.
Kelli is a member of the Polk County and Iowa State Bar Associations. Kelli was admitted to the Iowa bar in September 2017.
