BrownWinick attorneys, Christopher Sackett and Adam Freed, presented at the Export University - International Business Training Series on Tuesday, April 2, 2013. The title of their presentation was "International Contract Law / Contract Issues for the Sale of Goods."  The Greater Des Moines Partnership and U.S. Commercial Services Iowa, an entity of the U.S. Department of Commerce, hosted this export-training program to service the needs of Iowa businesses. The goal of Export University is to educate businesses on the proper procedures for getting the international markets, eliminate the frustrations of unpaid receivables and custom issues, and discover new market potential.
