Specialties

As an associate attorney at BrownWinick, I am primarily involved with the Corporate/Business Transactions practice group here. I have the opportunity to assist a wide variety of clients with a diverse range of business matters such as business formation, M&A transactions, and corporate governance. I provide knowledge and practical advice to help clients reach their personal and business end goals.

My Approach

Growing up, I always knew I wanted to have a career in advocating for people. Being the eldest among first generation siblings and cousins, I naturally took on a mentor role in my family. I take pride in being someone's "go-to" for guidance or assistance – my goal is to be that person for my clients.

My clients can rely on me to listen to their specific needs, understand their objectives, and explain what can often be complex legal issues. I believe that effective communication is key to fostering a strong attorney-client relationship.

More About Me

I was born and raised in the Greater Boston area and graduated from Northeastern University School of Law in 2019. During my time at Northeastern, I clerked at two prominent firms in Boston, and I clerked for the Honorable Judge Allison Burroughs in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. In law school, I also participated in the International Refugee Assistant Project and as a student attorney with the Prisoners' Rights Clinic. I went on to be a teaching assistant for the Prisoners’ Rights Clinic the following year.

After graduating law school, I relocated to Iowa with my husband and began to put down roots. Although the move was for my husband's job, our decision to stay was for the quieter life that we have grown to appreciate. Prior to joining BrownWinick I had the opportunity to work with an ambitious litigator, who taught me the lay of the land for success in my legal career in Iowa. I also had the pleasure of clerking with the group of Judges serving District 2A.

Outside of work, I love to travel with my husband, enjoy the outdoors, read, and visit my friends and family on the East Coast.
