Maggie L. Simonson is an associate attorney with BrownWinick. She is a dually-licensed attorney and CPA. She has a general practice, including, but not limited to taxation law, business and corporate law, estate planning, employment law and startups.
Maggie graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2010, receiving her B.B.A., with distinction, in Accounting with a Certificate in Spanish. Maggie attended the University of Iowa Henry B. Tippie College of Business in 2013 and completed courses in the Master of Accountancy program to meet her CPA requirements.
In 2013, Maggie studied abroad in Madrid, Spain with William & Mary Law School. Maggie received her J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2014. While in law school, Maggie also received the Boyd Service Award with High Honors for 150 hours of volunteer service.
Maggie is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association, the Iowa Society of CPAs, and the American Academy of Attorney-CPAs. She was admitted to the Iowa bar in September 2014 and became a Certified Public Accountant in November 2015.
