Colin L. Hendricks is an associate attorney with BrownWinick and has a general practice including, but not limited to, wills, estate, and succession planning, agribusiness, tax, and corporate and business transactions.  Colin’s practice takes him to all corners of Iowa, including his home town of Fort Dodge and its surrounding areas.

Colin graduated from the University of Iowa in 2015, receiving his B.B.A. in Economics, with highest honors. He graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2018, receiving his J.D., with high honors and high distinction and was selected for membership in the Order of the Coif.

While in law school, Colin served as the judicial extern for Justice Thomas D. Waterman of the Iowa Supreme Court and worked as a law clerk for the BrownWinick and Kersten, Brownlee, Hendricks law firms.

Colin was admitted to the Iowa bar in 2018. He is a member of the Polk County and Iowa State Bar Associations, where he is active in the probate and agriculture sections. Colin is the son of Steve Hendricks and grandson of Lewis Hendricks. His family has been providing legal services for Iowans since 1947.

Outside of work, Colin is a member of the Capitol Hill Lutheran Church and Habitat for Humanity Young Professionals. He enjoys being active outdoors, especially golfing and pheasant hunting.
