Mark E. Roth, Attorney at Law
Mark E. Roth is a member of BrownWinick. Mark assists clients in the areas of
business planning,
estate planning,
construction and
real estate after 20 years
of working in private businesses as both an owner of several successful small
businesses and in management of a Fortune 100 corporation. With extensive business
experience, and having personally acquired and sold business interests, he is
able to assist clients with not only the legal aspects, but also the business
aspects of their businesses. He represents business clients in all aspects of
their business operations, including mergers and acquisitions, capital formation,
equity and debt financing, business planning, board of directors operations and
duties, shareholder matters, estate planning and contract negotiations.
In August of 2007, Mark was selected as a member of the 2007-2008 Leadership Iowa class. This leadership class is a program of the Association of Business and
Industry Foundation. The goal of the selection process is to create a class that
brings together leaders from across the state who represent a variety of occupations,
civic involvement and geographic locations.
Mark is also active in community affairs, currently serving as a board member
of the Greater Des Moines Partnership's Regional Business Development Board and
also a board member of
several charitable organizations including the Dowling/St. Josephs Education Foundation
and the Holy Family Intercity Youth Foundation. Mark received his B.S. from the
University of Notre Dame, an MBA from the University of Chicago, and his J.D.
from Drake University. He was admitted to the Iowa bar in 2002.
