Drew D. Larson, Attorney at Law

Drew D. Larson is an associate attorney with BrownWinick. Drew practices primarily in the areas of corporate transactions, health law, estate planning, tax and general litigation. He represents business clients in various aspects of their operations, including startup organization, financing, acquisitions, contract drafting and negotiation, succession planning and regulatory compliance. Drew has a particular passion for working with technology startups and other entrepreneurs, working with them to structure their business, protect their intellectual property and leverage the many state and federal programs that can help startups take their business to the next level. Drew views his role as an attorney as a trusted advisor and partner with his clients, helping to assess their legal needs and working to provide the most simple, straightforward and complete answers as possible.

Drew is also active in the community. He serves on the Board of Directors for Good Neighbor Emergency Assistance of Story County, which provides food, housing and utility assistance in Story County, Iowa. he also serves on the Board of Directors for Bethany Life Communities, which provides for a variety of nursing, housing, assisted living and other elder services.

Drew graduated, magna cum laude, in 2006 from Iowa State University with a B.S. in Accounting and Political Science. In 2008, Drew received his J.D., with distinction, from the University of Iowa. While at the University of Iowa, Drew served as newsletter Editor and Treasurer of the Environmental Law Society and was a Hammond Chapter Member of Phi Alpha Delta. He is a member of the Polk County, Iowa State and American Bar Associations. Drew was admitted to the Iowa bar in 2009.
