Christopher R. Sackett, Attorney at Law
Chris is the firm's Managing Partner and is actively involved in the firm's
Business and Corporate Law,
Securities,

practice
groups. Chris has been recognized by
Chambers USA as a leading practitioner
in Iowa in corporate/mergers and acquisitions and business law. Chris
represents numerous and diverse clients in corporate/mergers and acquisitions,
business and transactional matters, and energy projects and assists with many
other legal concerns.

with other attorneys at BrownWinick to provide a full range of legal services.
Chris prides himself on his ability
to "partner" with clients and add value by taking a proactive, results-oriented
approach and viewing
each engagement from a businessperson's perspective. He believes one of the keys
to providing the best legal representation to clients is knowing
their specific business, industry and strategic plan. His focus is on client service,
creativity and results.
Chris's practice focuses primarily on domestic and
international business, transactional,
corporate and securities matters, including: organization/formation/
startup and management
issues; debt and equity financing including public and private securities offerings;
mergers and acquisitions; joint ventures; real estate transactions;
manufacturing
and supply chain transactions; and
franchise/dealer/distributor issues. Industries
served include manufacturing, technology, biotech, agribusiness (including
livestock production operations,
dairies, eggs,
grapes and wine and food products), venture capital, private equity/investment banking and
energy (including generation,
transmission, storage and renewable energy).
Chris is a recognized leader within BrownWinick, currently serving as Managing
Partner after several years on the firm's Management Committee, and he is a past
Chair of the Recruiting and Marketing
Committees. Chris has also actively participated for many years in all phases
of BrownWinick's associate and mentoring programs. Chris currently serves on the

in 1993, in Iowa in 1994 and is a member of the Iowa State (Member, Business Law;
