BrownWinick sponsored a tree at the Festival, its attorneys and staff contributed funds in exchange for wearing jeans to work and also donated over 450 books to be used by the patients at Blank. In addition, BrownWinick attorneys and staff volunteered their time during the first day of the Festival, which was held November 23-27, 2016. The tree sponsored by BrownWinick was given to a local family with a child dealing with a cancer diagnosis.
In addition to these activities, BrownWinick staff decorated a Neighborhood Tree. Staff and attorneys worked hard in advance of the Festival to develop a theme and decorations for the tree as well as themed gift basket. The BrownWinick Neighborhood tree, which was “super heroes” themed, received the second highest bid at the Festival. All funds raised from the Neighborhood Tree benefit Blank Children’s Hospital.
